An interview with Andreas Hauser, SVP of SAP Apphaus

We’re still at the very beginning — but this much is already clear: AI will change how we work together. In this customer story, Andreas Hauser, SVP of SAP Apphaus, shares his early thoughts on how AI is empowering smoother collaboration for enterprise organizations.

One of the most interesting takeaways from his early research is that while advisors often advocate for a more gradual adoption of new technologies, AI seems to be an exception:

“I was recently at an analyst conference, and they mentioned that they typically don’t recommend customers to start with the latest technology, and let other customers explore until the technology is mature, and then explore it. They mentioned that with generative AI, it is different, and they recommend that every customer begin exploring the possibilities now, because it is moving so fast.” —Andreas Hauser

At Mural, we’re building AI into our product with a teamwork-focused approach, because work isn’t something we do alone. In our view, AI should play three different roles in teamwork: The role of assistant; the role of contributor; and the role of coach — each depending on the circumstances and the work being done.

You can learn more about how we're building Mural AI in this blog post.

This video is the first in a series of customer stories, highlighting the most important issues facing enterprise collaboration, and opportunities for improving the way we work together.

Thanks very much to Andreas Hauser for sharing his insights with us! Learn more about how SAP uses Mural and Microsoft Teams to streamline collaboration and make hybrid work... work.
